The Marketplace Visibility Checklist

Rankings on Trendyol, Hepsiburada or Amazon are not luck. A practical checklist for product visibility that actually converts.

Marketplace visibility is a stack of small, checkable decisions: titles, attributes, content quality, pricing signals, campaign participation and review velocity. Miss two or three layers and the algorithm quietly buries you.

This checklist is the one I use when auditing marketplace accounts — ordered by impact, with notes on what to fix first when time and budget are limited.

1. Titles and attributes (highest impact)

The title should carry brand, product type, differentiator and variant in the order the platform expects. Fill every attribute field — marketplace filters feed on attributes, and an empty field means invisibility in filtered searches.

2. Content quality

At least five or six high-resolution images, a rich description and video where possible. Trendyol and Hepsiburada use content score directly in ranking; on Amazon, A+ content measurably lifts conversion.

3. Price and stock signals

Algorithms reward competitive pricing and uninterrupted stock. A stockout isn't just lost sales — it's lost ranking, and recovery can take weeks. Make Buy Box monitoring a routine.

4. Campaign participation

Joining platform campaigns (flash sales, category days, seasonal events) signals "this seller is active" to the algorithm and creates a visibility multiplier. Participate selectively to protect margin, but don't stay out entirely.

5. Review velocity and rating

Review velocity matters more than review count: a steady flow of new reviews shows the product is alive. Automate the post-purchase review request flow and respond to negative reviews within 24 hours.

Prioritization: where to start on a limited budget

The order: fix attributes and titles first (free, fast, high impact), then refresh images, then secure stock continuity. Don't turn on ad budget before those three are done — buying traffic for a broken listing is donating money to the algorithm.
